A Time Bank is a unique way to bring people together to help each other and make their community stronger.  Using a web based tool, the skills and talents of members are recorded and used as currency.  Members advise others what they want to give and receive and tasks are meant to be fun.  All hours are equal, whether you are chopping wood, cleaning, reading a child a story or walking someone’s dog.

Who Joins the Time Bank?
We welcome anyone to join the Time Bank, though we work directly with people who live in the St. Ann`s Bay area. People of all ages and capacities have something to offer the Time Bank.

Why Join a Time Bank?
The beauty of the Time Bank is that it creates a chance to socialize, share skills and experiences, teach something, or do what you do best in exchange for something else. It also has greater affects on the community, such as:

» Strengthens the broader community network.
» Creates solutions to issues such as elder and child care, transportation, and tight economic conditions.
» Brings neighbors together!

How can I get involved?

Submit an application to Patsy LeBlanc with the included link or by emailing stannsbay@community.timebanks.org. We will be in touch with further information by telephone or email.
